NVIDIA has announced a forthcoming pricing adjustment for its popular cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW, in Europe and Canada. Beginning on November 1st, 2023, subscribers in these regions will see changes to their subscription costs. The adjustment is attributed to increased operational expenses in these areas.
Until the new pricing comes into effect, both current and new members have a unique opportunity. They can secure up to six months of subscription time at the existing rates. Additionally, gift cards purchased before November 1st will still be honored upon redemption.
The updated pricing table in various currencies is as follows:

In the United Kingdom, the current monthly cost of a Priority subscription is £8.99, while a six-month subscription costs £44.99. With the impending changes, the monthly rate will rise by £1, and the six-month subscription cost will increase by £5. The price hike is even more pronounced for the Ultimate tier, with monthly fees increasing by £2 and biannual plans by £10. A similar price adjustment is also anticipated in European regions.
NVIDIA has attributed this pricing alteration to the escalating operational expenditures specific to Europe and Canada. Notably, there are no plans at this time to modify pricing for GeForce NOW in the United States.
GeForce NOW, often lauded as one of the leading cloud gaming services, is celebrated for its robust features, particularly for those who can afford the Ultimate tier. Historically, the platform has faced criticism for the absence of triple-A games from prominent publishers. However, this landscape began to change when Microsoft made the groundbreaking announcement that it would bring its games, including those from Bethesda, to GeForce NOW. Notably, titles like Starfield and Forza Motorsport were promptly made available on NVIDIA’s cloud gaming platform.
Another exciting development for GeForce NOW is the impending return of Activision Blizzard’s games. These titles were initially part of the service’s beta phase but were withdrawn by the publisher upon the official launch of GeForce NOW in February 2020.
A crucial turning point came when Microsoft’s merger with Activision Blizzard was confirmed. This means that games such as Call of Duty, Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and more will be introduced to GeForce NOW. While the exact timeline remains uncertain, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer indicated that it would likely take a few months for these games to join Game Pass, which may coincide with their availability on GeForce NOW and other cloud gaming services that have secured similar agreements, such as Boosteroid, Nware, Ubitus, and EE.
